Malgorzata Staszewska holds a Doctorate in violin performance from the University of Georgia (United States) and a Masters Degree from the Cracow Music Conservatory (Poland). Having been born in Cracow, one of Europe's most charming historic cities rich in cultural traditions, Ms. Staszewska was able to develop her passion for the violin. As a daughter of professional musicians, Malgorzata's "kindergarten" was a building of the Cracow Philharmonic. Her musicality was inspired by international guest soloists and it matured between her father's orchestral rehearsals downstairs and mother's choir practice upstairs. Ms. Staszewska refined her artistic skills while studying in Poland, Germany, and the United States in order to become a professional violinist. She enjoys performing as a soloist and chamber musician, but is also a concertmaster and member of other orchestral ensembles. Ms. Staszewska shares her passion for music by teaching violin and viola in Athens, Georgia. Nine years of international teaching experience, an individual teaching approach, and contagious enthusiasm for music allow her students to learn quickly and achieve success. Contact Malgorzata [US: Margaret] about availability for performance or teaching. |
